Bug report - XnViewMP links to the net not working with Google Chrome [Solved]

Subject: 1.4.2: Links fromXnView to Internet-URL's not working with Google Chrome

XnView: MP 1.4.2 - 64-bit
OS: Windows 11 - 64-bit
Browser: Google Chrome fully updated.
Version 110.0.5481.78 (Officiel version) (64-bit)

XnView responds not to the chosen action.

Effect: none

To reproduce:
1. Go to XnViewMP top-command-line. Choose Help
2. Activate Technical support - or WiKi... - or Report a bug - or Visit the website - or the wiki..
3. Go to XnViewMP top-command-line. Choose Tools - activate Open GPs-locatyion in... none of them works
Actual behaviour (bug): XnView can't fulfill my desired actions - Make a donation does not work either

Some time ago I had the same problem reported to MyMovies (Binnerup Consult, Aarhus, Denmark). They managed to solve the problem rather quickly.

The problem seems to be solely related to Google Chrome.
Firefox (109.0.1 (64-bit)) responds fine to XnView. Opera and Microsoft Edge works fine as well.

When Vivaldi 5.7 stable (Chromium 110) is released, I'll test it.
Vivaldi 5.6 stable (Chromium 108) ALL links work perfectly.

Thanks for your reply, but I have just noticed that Chrome was not having this problem on another computer of mine. I have now re-installed Chrome on the 'faulty' machine and the problem is solved. So I'll close the case.

I have reinstalled Chrome on this pc - It solved the problem. XnView was not the problem.
