Update_A new version is available ???

When I open XnViewMP, I get a notification that a new version is available, with a button "Download new version".

My question is, if I click this handy Download button, is it going to send the new version to my Downloads folder where I can then install at my convenience; or, is it going to immediately start an Online install ?
