Latest XnViewMP version compatible with glibc_2.17 (Linux CentOS 7.9.2)

Post by fsuser »

Hello,
Could someone tell me which XnViewMP version is the latest one to be compatible with glibc_2.17? Running on Linux CentOS 7.9.2
Version 0.98.0 was installed a while ago and works fine. Tried installing the latest 1.4.3 but it does not run:

Code: Select all

/opt/xnsoft/xnview-1.4.3/XnView: /lib64/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.18' not found (required by /opt/xnsoft/xnview-1.4.3/lib/libc++.so.1)
Would like to update to a later version that is still compatible with glibc_2.17
Thanks!

Hello,
Same problem, XnviewMP64 is no more working on CentOS 7.9 :

Code: Select all

/lib64/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.18' not found (required by /cea/dsku/u-pong/hal3/home/b5/renardf/XnViewMP64/lib/libc++.so.1)
Is it possible for me to compile the code on this platform ?
Thank you,

lib/libc++.so.1 is used by MDK for video playing, source code is not available...
