The bug of automatic renaming of folders in non-English systems

Post by sonytg50 »

XnView: MP 0.9X ~ 1.4.3 - 64bits
OS: Windows 7.10 - 64-bit

Hello, I am using a traditional Chinese Windows system and the actual location of the download folder is D:\Downloads, but it is displayed as "D:\下載" in traditional Chinese.

When I double click on this folder in XnViewMP, the folder will be renamed to "D:\下載" in Traditional Chinese even if I don't enter a new name.

D:\Downloads in English will be renamed to "D:\下載" in Traditional Chinese.

This will cause the Windows download folder to lose its path.

Double click on the download folder in xnviewmp, it will automatically change the folder name

The problem is that it shouldn't change the name of the folder
