Can WebP XMP metadata be viewed in XnView's Filelist window?

Can XMP metadata, as opposed to the IPTC metadata that I can see now, be viewed in a column in XnView's Filelist window for WebP images?

I see that for PNG images the XMP Description and IPTC Caption can be seen in the Caption column, but for WebP the XMP Description does not appear in the Caption column. The XMP Description and IPTC Caption for PNG appear to be the same data, but for WebP that does not appear to be the case.

I've found that some WEBP XMP metadata can be stored and retrieved if I tick the metadata > sidecar > 'update or create XMP sidecar' option..
