The DEB download link on the home page reportedly links to 1.4.4 not 1.4.5 :

version linux 1.4.5 ne s'installe pas après téléchargement.

you means that https://download.xnview.com/XnViewMP-linux-x64.deb is not latest?

My update from 1.4.3 a few minutes ago using the above link does show in Help> About... 1.4.5, so unless you have just corrected the download the above French report would seem to have been incorrect... :?:
