Too many open images warning on termination

I just updated to 1.4.5 but had this issue before:

I opened only one single image, so the applications session should ony have one entry.
On termination I get aksed if I want so save the session but am warned that it contains many opened images/pictures which may slow down the next start.

Well I think one is not many. Is there a setting what means 'many''?

are you sure that you have only one image tab?

yes, I had only one image tab. That surprised me.
