XnView MP (Version 1.4.5 64bits) doesnt save files Win10

Post by Lohmatyi »

Hello!

I've found a problem. My XnView MP (Version 1.4.5 64bits) doesnt save files onto my Windows 10 Pro 21H2 system.

For example: I'm opening a jpeg file, push a 'save as', type a new filename (for the same folder) and push 'Save' button.

Runs save process, but no new file appears in folder.

XnView runs under Administrator, I've reinstalled it for several times, but it didn't help.

What is the problem and what should I do to fix it?

PS XnView classic works fine, BTW.

If you after saving you refresh the W10 folder, the file is displayed?

No problem with 1.4.4 ? Old versions

No possibly that you are saving to Guetzli JPEG, for which I don't see an option in my 1.4.5, but which can be *very* slow to process images other than those with quite small pixel dimensions?
