XnView unable to work with .MIX files?

I downloadedXnView MP because I need to be able to see .MIX image files and the
Internet has many references stating that XnView MP is capable of doing that.
Here is the version I downloaded:
XnView MP Linux
Version 1.4.4 64bits (Apr 18 2023)
Libformat version 7.140
Is this version not capable of .MIX files because it will not display those images?
