New compare... tool - switch for a/b is disabled

XnviewMP 1.50 beta #1:

1. Start Thumbnail browser
2. Select three picture files
3. Open menu tools => compare...
4. I see three pictures on my screen
5. If I close one picture with the symbol in the upper icon bar, two pictures stay on screen (see screenshot)
6. The a/b compare radio button is disabled!

I expected: If I have two pictures in compare tool only, I would like to use the a/b compare option.

The same will happen, If I open 4 picture files, close 2 files and try a a/b compare! a/b radio button is disabled.
