When you open the attached HEIC file and save it in PNG format, the GPS Image Direction will be removed. This is bad, because it deprives other programs of the ability to show the viewing direction on a map. (Unfortunately, XnView MP does not have this useful feature, but other programs do. Using XnView MP 1.5.0 beta 4 on Mac with Intel processor.
When you open the attached HEIC file and save it in PNG format, the GPS Image Direction will be removed.
