No.you means new control??
I only mean a new skin supporting/emulating those nice Office 2003 look-alike menus and toolbars. Take a look at this screenshot of SpeedCommander (http://www.speedproject.de/enu/speedcommander/), or this of XPlorer (http://guti.webcindario.com/static.php?page=XPlorer), or this of ACDSee (http://www.acdsystems.com/products/acds ... up?image=1).
Do you know whaat I mean?
Thanks for listening! Hope these could be added to http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.p ... torder=asc

- Ability to paste clipboard contents to a new image, such as in IrfanView.
Already exists, hit shift+ctrl+v instead of just ctrl+v
- PNGOUT (http://advsys.net/ken/utils.htm) plugin support for optimizing PNG files in Save As.
I requested this feature a while back: http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?t=2063 I also approached the author of pngout about making a version for xnview. He agreed, but said he was busy and it would take a while to get around to it.

Well, after spending about 45 minutes reading the forum (I am a new user here), I discovered it.Drahken wrote:- Ability to paste clipboard contents to a new image, such as in IrfanView.

Anyway, it seems more logical to use Ctrl-V...
Sincerelly I do not know how complex will be to port the plugin from the Irfanview API to the one in XnView. But I will really love to have this feature in XnView!Drahken wrote:- PNGOUT (http://advsys.net/ken/utils.htm) plugin support for optimizing PNG files in Save As.

I wholeheartedly agree. However, most people here use the browser more than the viewer, and they prefer ctrl+v for pasting in the browser (which leaves viewer mode stuck with shift+ctrl+v). I don't know why ctrl+v can't be used for both though. When you're in browser mode it should function for the browser, when you're in viewer mode it should function for the viewer. I guess there's some sort of conflict though...Anyway, it seems more logical to use Ctrl-V...

Strongly !

- The same for me ! The first time I used CTRL+V and it no longer worked, I sent an email to Pierre, because I thought this was a bug !
- Personally, I use to paste always in "View" mode, I don't paste in the browser…
So, the CTRL+SHIFT+V sucks…
