For viewing .dwg files there is a CAD plugin needed provided by Cadsofttools. The CAD plug-in is shareware. You will need that plugin installed in the plug-ins directory to view the .dwg files.cacheli wrote:that for your reply I need a little more info on how to download the plugin from cadsofttools what address should I type...? or what do I have to do...?
A test version of the plugin for viewing .dwg files is included in the Complete version of XnView, which you can download on the XnView Download page.
Alternatively, you can download the CAD plugin only and add it to the current installation of XnView. You will find the download in the sections "Add-Ons", it's labeled "CAD plugins (DXF/DWG/HPGL)". For installation of the plugin and checking whether the plug-in is installed properly, see FAQ "Let's talk about Plug-Ins". The CAD plugin is listed in the Plug-Ins dialog as "CADImage.dll - DXF/DWG/HPGL decoder - (c) Soft Gold ..."
