XnView MP hangs on startup accessing network share [Solved]

I was browsing a network share in XnView MP yesterday with no issues. I closed the program at the end of the day.

Today, I attempted to start XnView MP, and it completely hung with a white window while starting up. The title bar indicates that it is attempting to connect to the location I was last browsing, which is a network share:


Even though the network share is most definitely still online and active, XnView MP appears to be unable to connect to it or something. So now XnView won't even start up at all.

Is there, perhaps, some way to force XnView MP to launch to a known-good directory, such as `C:\` or `%USERPROFILE%`?

Maybe change this from true to false under xnview.ini:
