Debian: Will XnView MP update itself if I install the DEB file?

Hi, If I install the DEB file from the official XnView website, will it receive future updates when new XnView versions are released, or will it remain as is? I understand that the DEB file on the official website will be updated when new versions are released, but I'm specifically asking about updates within the Linux system. Will the DEB file I install receive updates through the GNOME software?
