position text

Hi,
I'm a beginner and didn't find anything to bring text on the position I want, like exact in the middle on top on the picture. Therefore my question:
How can I position text accurately in the image?

In Edit > Add text... the text entered can be dragged using the mouse to a desired location set by eye, no menu to set a position or grid option.


In Image > Draw... the second and any subsequent text entered can similarly be moved using the mouse, but the first text entered seemingly can no longer be repositioned, looks like a regression...

Note: Tested in 1.5.2, current version 1.5.5 not checked.

Thx for the answer. It makes me not happy, because this was in the classic version easier.
