Browser - Catalog filter - add Unset filters and rework Special items

Browser - Catalog filter
It's annoying when the clear/reset filters function is not clearly visible (XnViewMP, ACDSee), there is no such problem in Capture One or Lightroom.
It also doesn't make sense to have ability to select multiple filters + 'All'

A

• add 'Unset' filters (see Example)
  - Unrated
  - Uncolored OR Unlabeled
  - Untagged (for Tags)

• rework Special Items
  • replace 'All' with 'Reset' button in on top
    reset/clear ALL filters functionality should not be inside filters itself
    (reest continue to respect Match option [global, current folder, etc])
  • move 'Uncategorized'
    so that all filters associated with Categories are in the same group
  • move 'Tag' into its own group
    so that all filters associated with Tags are in the same group

• rename
  Album → Albums

• (optional) tune filelist content representation
  when you select Catalog filter pane, filelist continue to show content of current folder
  which is misleading if Match=Global or Current folder+subfolders
  - switch from filesystem to catalog content as soon as you click on Catalog filter pane

• add Quick filter control with buttons (like in Capture One)
  - ... - opens Advanced Search dialog
  - ▾- opens filter settings menu (move Match here)
  • replace 'All' with Reset 'ⓧ' button in 'Quick filter' field on top

improve filter abilities:

• add Unrated, Unlabeled, Untagged items (eg like in acdsee)

• split Tag into its own group

This is good idea. And others from your post.

I propose something more - to add a counter of tagged files to this list, near the options to choose (tagged/untagged). And maybe a counters of colour labels and stars too.
Going forward - counter of tagged files I think should be straight visible in main window in browser (and in active top edge in fullscreen mode)), because it's really important (knowing how many photos are currently choosen). There is so many unused place there. Toolbar - somewhere on right - perfect! Tittle bar too.

There is something in settings>browser>browser>title Bar and fuctions added from list>extra to title bar, but nothing works (bug?), and there is no counters. This place not specially visible, but better this one than no one.

but resetting/clearing filters should revel all files, limited only by Match option:
- global - show all files in catalog
- current folder (+subfolders) - show all cataloged files from current folder (+subfolders)

it works better with Catalog panel, eg like in CaptureOne.

'All' & 'Uncategorized' are special item because they work alone

but 'Uncategorized' just show all cataloged files w/o Categories, it should be inside Categories group
