Save as HDR images give a wrong SDR images

Post by Kadet »

Windows 11
XnViewMP 1.6.1 x64

1. Open 48 or 64 bits HDR jxl image.
2. Save as jxl or avif file.

Output JXL is not HDR as I thought it should be, but 24 / 32 bits SDR. And it's image with wrong color conversion - picture is greyed.
Output AVIF is to converted to SDR too, but with good color conversion - except miniature (see screenshot).

The appearance of thumbnails has been fixed.
Save as jxl is correctly too.

Now I'm waiting for version 2.0 of XnView with full support for 48/64 bit HDR photos - cropping, resizing, filters, saving...
