so moved that folder to ssd -its faster faster...but RAM usage still epic...
thumbs stops generating after 34%....

in you case, it's perhaps better to disable 'settings>Thumbnail - create for whole folder'

looks like xnview trys to show ALL images in folder while indexing it
looks like its the reason to eat all RAM
that should be fixed - its real pain with 250k images and 'show recurse...'
in you case, it's perhaps better to disable 'settings>Thumbnail - create for whole folder' --- but why? i need it...
