Setting 'open slideshow with files from current folder'

Can you pls explain how to use this?

I've been waiting for years for ACDSee-like functionality to just "shuffle to another image on this same folder structure" without having to start a "complicated" slideshow... Maybe this might be a solution...?

you have it in context menu in folder view

Would still love a possibility to have a shortcut similar to "next image", but that goes straight to a random image inside the current folder.

Shortcut similar to "next image", but that goes straight to a random image inside the current folder.

FYI There's a toobar button for "Random File" in options -> context menu -> viewer and a bindable hotkey for it in options -> shortcuts -> viewer
Also if you configure "quick slideshow" options in options -> view -> misc to "random" and then click the "play" button on the fullscreen play-bar, it'll also play files randomly.
