Duplicate Images when using Browser

Post by OldPilot »

1. When I used the catalog filter to bring photos with certain Keywords (names in my case), duplicate photos appear. Now in some cases the dups are caused in some case on a drive that no longer exists. I guess the thumbnail for that image is still stored somewhere on my system. Where and how do I eliminate these references to drives/folders that no longer exist.

2. Also, there are situations where duplicate files to exist in some other folder. How do select just a certain folder for viewing/editing?

3. In entering keywords, I have different names/spellings for the same person. Is there some way to group rename/edit a keyword to make those the same as another keyword. i.e change LL Bean to be L.L. Bean. the former may have 10 items while the latter has 30 items.

Version 1.6.4

you can use Settings>Catalog>Optimize to remove orphaned files
