Delete files doesn't use trash can / bin
We already had this problem last year: If I delete a single file or several file from XnView MP, it does NOT use the trash can even though I have checked that option.
In addition, if I select only ARW (Sony RAW) files to keep the JPG files, it deletes the TIFF and JPG files as well without using the trash can. I have lost several important images today because of this problem.
XnView MP for macOS version 1.6.4 (1.6.3 does have the same bug)
mac OS Catalina 10.15.7 (19H2026) with 24 GB RAM
Files are located on internal drive as well as on external HD, behavior is identical for all file deletion processes.

BTW, every other file I delete with the mouse or keyboard appears in the Recycle Bin / Trash. Just tested it several times. Text or image files, PDF files, just everything.

Re: Delete files doesn't use trash can / bin
Nothing appears in the trash (or Bin). In earlier versions yes, but now: no.
Strange thing: If I run Onyx for macOS Catalina and reboot, open the bin/trash, all deleted files are visible…
What's going wrong here?
As I said: Deleting files from the Finder always puts them into the bin/trash can. But not XnView…

Yes, the (image) files I have deleted by XnView are visible in the bin/trash.
And because they are visible, I can click and drag them to any folder.

Yes, they are moved to the bin, but they are not visible. So I can't put them back if I made a mistake.
