Xnview sometimes behaves really slowly in displaying video directories. It takes some time until it react

XnView 1.82 alpha
XNView 1.91.5
Windows XP SP3

Perhaps you have it's the thumbnail build process for video files??

I've come to find, that this happens most of the time, if video files are corrupted or incomplete. XNView then still tries to grab a screen although 99% of the time it can't.

Another possibility are codec issues, which are not due to XNView though.

I think it must be codec issues. sometimes xnview try to cache a video but with no luck. if you directly play this video in a media player you have no problem. maybe xnview could just ignore such videos to speed up the display
