I just can't use xnview mp as a default image viewer when it still doesn't provide enough good options to handle how images are sized when directly opened from win explorer etc... this is like the basic option that xnview classic worked best with... I wish there were more options or ways specific how certain sized images re handled...

This option still seems to be missing from xnview mp...

do you have tried 'Fit Window to image'? It has almost the same behavior...
