Generating two files in the Batch processing

Post by Elluminatus »

Hello and good day,

I want to batch process several photos and save a file in different ratios. So assuming I have a file at 300dpi and 50 "x40", I want to save this file in 30 "x20" and in 40 "x30". I am of course aware that the image will be partially distorted. Is it possible to create two files in one step in batch processing?

Thank you very much for your help.

Kind regards Elluminatus

I'm afraid that isn't currently possible... :(

If you need to do that regularly, you could save a script for each type of output and then load a required script quickly whenever required.

Another possibility would be to use an NConvert script to produce two outputs.

The ability to output different versions of the loaded input files is requested periodically, often for possible web use, but implementation would require significant work and Pierre the only developer has a high workload at the moment. I did suggest a possible interface last year which would have minimal impact on the existing interface, though.
