option to show logaritmic histogram distribution

It has been a real long time since starting to use XnView, and still happy with it,
but I do have a small request:

If I use the histogram distribution, I would like to have an option to show the histogram levels in an logaritmic way,
preferably as a toggle next to the histogram window, or both at the same time:

That way you can also see the less frequent values in the chart.
The histogram window is shown at several places, floating over the image when pressing "h",
but also when using the levels tool. My request applies for all options/windows where the histogram is displayed.

It would be even better if the histogram distribution would only apply to the current selection,
in stead of the whole image.
