Please make sure to include the ability to reduce the file size of images to under 1MB!
This is a feature that is always available in other software!

A pause function would be very useful when batch converting large numbers of images, so please add the function.

please add jbig2 compression to 1bit pdf. "fax" (=ccitt g4) is nearly 2 times bigger than jbig2. I have always to reenc myself in a second step with https://github.com/agl/jbig2enc

Is it possible to add an option to dynamically limit the number of CPU cores used when memory usage exceeds a certain limit?

My PC is running Windows 11, with a 12-core/24-thread CPU (Ryzen9 5900X) and 32GB of RAM.
I mainly use XnConvert to convert jpeg or png to lossless webp, and the source files are usually around 2 megapixels, but sometimes I need to handle huge sources of over 30 megapixels without resizing them.
If I forget to change the "Output -> Options -> Use multiple CPU cores" setting at such times, the memory will be used up in an instant, causing problems such as outputting a 0-byte file. Sometimes it can also make other applications such as security software unstable, and in the worst case it can even crash Windows.

For this reason, it would be nice to have an option to set an upper limit for memory usage, either as an absolute value or as a percentage, and to stop allocating further parallel conversion tasks to CPU cores when the limit is exceeded.

Please collapse action list at progrup startup.
Or add a feature to remember collapse/expand state of an action.

would help me a lot with long list of actions
