Follow file location in folder structure automatically

When i open an image it would be nice if the current folder would be opened automatically on the left hand side.
Often i work in a hiarchy deep down and i need to move images one hierarchy up. This is tidious because i first have to open the folder location in a compex folder hierachy.
Is it possiblle that XN View opens the current folder structure automatically ? Follow tree hierachy ?
