Last Used doesn't work

Post by AlaskaDave »

I love this software but I have a couple of issues with it. I'm running version XnView MP 1.7.2 64-bit Windows, on a Win10 laptop

I want to maintain a 100% view once I select it but every time I move to a new image, the 100% view is lost and the next image just fits the screen. I have Tools>Setting>View>Auto zoom "last used" set but it isn't working.

TIA

you open an image file in a tab, select 100%, and click on 'next picture'?

That is what I've been doing: I select a photo, make it 100%, and then either with the arrow keys on the menu or the arrow keys on my keyboard, move to the next file. The 100% view doesn't stay and I have to make it 100% manually.

I have made a few changes to the keyboard shortcuts, for example, instead of <shift>8 for "*" I use <Ctrl>1 as in Adobe Bridge to get a 100% view but I believe the Last Used setting should still work. At any rate, even if I use the default keyboard shortcuts that came with the app, Last Used doesn't work as expected.

Well, lock Zoom works but it requires an additional keystroke to invoke it. I have been working with the shortcut file and now, for some unexplained reason, the 100% view is staying when I move from image to image. I must've done something weird in that file earlier, I dunno. But I'm happy for now.

Thank you.
