How to select using spacebar

I have multiple instances + ini I files which I run using xnviewmp.exe -ini etc

in a 1 instance I cannot tag a file using the spacebar, it only works using control T. How can I make it work with the spacebar

in Settings>Keyboard, do you have 'nothing' for SPACE?
