I just upgraded from rev 4.1.6 to 4.1.10.... but with this latest version, HEIC files are no more supported !
I then uninstalled 4.1.10 and put again 4.1.6, and .heic files are supported again.

Actually, I did this upgrade, because I discovered a slight bug in 4.1.6, and was hoping it was fixed in the latest rev :
Even when "Use original file date/time for saved files" option is set, converting a file using one of the pre-defined format (using the "Convert into" menu) creates a new file having date/time of initial file (which is OK), but converting it with the other menu ("Convert....") in which we have to choose the destination format, creates a file with date/time set at current time.... which is NOT OK.

It would be great to have a new version, fixing this slight bug, and still able to manage .heic files.

Thank you in advance !

After more thorough testing, it was found that files with the Index Color model can be converted to all formats except JPG.

Please, download the file and try converting it to JPG.

Hi,

I just installed XnShell Extension (last rev 4.1.11) on a Win11 Home laptop.... and menu DO NOT appear for .HEIC files
While it works on my other laptop, under W10 pro.

Is there something to do to have it working on W11 ?

For me it appears only in the classic context menu (right click a file, then select "show more options" or press shift + context menu key on the keyboard).

It should be possible to add it to the standard menu, Windows 11 has different API commands for each menu.

Is there an option somewhere which one should be used? (like it's done in WinRAR for example)

Hi all

Please add supporto to .webp images
To see and to convert
It's very annoying not to be able to manage them..
If a use windows explorer it works
But if i use EF Commander (older verion) it doen't work!
But the problem came only with .webp images
For example with .png it works...
TIA!
