Huge Difficulties browsing SMB Directory on Mac...

Hello,
I wonder why it is so difficult for me to browse directory on my Synolgy (using the SMB protocol) with a large amount of files on my Mac with XNView MP ?
Doing the same thing on the same directory on my Synology with the Windows version is faster enough to see something on my screen quickly.

Do you have any clue ?

I have a directory containing about 6900 jpeg files and 13 sub-folders, Nothing else. The software hangs on Mac, not on Windows.

please try to start XnView from a terminal, and check logs when you have the lock
