Hiding play bar in full screen video

I can't figure out how to hide the play bar in full screen mode while watching videos. I am assuming the play bar is the bar that allows you to seek in the video. I have gone into settings->full screen and unticked the show playbar button, but that didn't do anything.

yes it's for the bar to seek files. you would like to always hide video play bar in fullscreen?

Yes, that's what I'm after. Or have it minimise if the mouse doesn't move like many video players do
