1.8.6 - XnViewMP crashes in browser view with jpeg-xl files

I have many jpeg files transcoded to Jpegl-XL format.
I have a directory with up to 200 jpeg xl files.
If I use the browser window and open the directory,
XnViewMP try to scan the files and generate thumbnails of the jxl files.
During this process I double click on a jpeg xl file to open it.
Then XnViewMP sometimes crashes.

XnViewMP's thumbnail generation is very unstable, even beyond JPEG XL. Opening files after deletion inevitably crashes the program. So, I deliberately avoid any file interaction during thumbnail creation.

My apologies if this is an isolated bug.

Nice to hear, I am not the only one who has this problem. Okay, I will try to do nothing until the thumbnails are generated.
