Version 1.8.7 improved on Lanczos4 and seems to be fixed, bilinear still looks blurry, but maybe that's just the nature of it. So far Lanczos seems to work fine so I'll go with it. But If I use Lanczos4 for 'Zoom in' in this version, there is a subtle image shift happening just about a pixel which pushes the image together and creates a horizontal line over the image.

It's easy to spot on the feet on the right panel, running all over the face/nose part and the text of the image to the left. Basically the top and bottom parts of the image get smushed together and create this line.

Re: 1.6.1 Unsharp/blurry picture zoom out
I can reproduce with win dpi scale <>100% and zoom >dpi scale, eg 150%dpi and 151%zoom
happens when you switch on/off 'High zoom quality' (any filter except Bilinear)
same behavior in 8 and 24 bit images
continue
1.8.7 horizontal line over the image, image pushed together
