1.8.7- Add .wmf, .ani, .cur, .svg, .bm and .xbm file associations

Hello XNView team!

I noticed in XNView MP in Options-> Formats more formats, like WMF (Windows metafile format), .ani, .cur, .tiff, .svg, .bm and .xbm are missing. I would be nice if you added these file associations.

Its not file associations, it's formats in writing (you have already xbm & tiff)

I didn't see .xbm file format until now. Sorry for that. But what about the other formats?

tiff and tif are the same

how did you come up with the list of formats to add?
do you know the difference between raster/vector formats, single/multi-page files?

Yes, of course. I know the difference between raster and vector pictures and single-page and multi-page file formats, as well. I installed XNView MP with every file association. I wanted to open some pictures and I noticed I have to select XNView MP manually many times for some specific formats.

Settings>Formats is not about association, it just limits type combobox in 'Save as' dialog

1. press 'Set file associations...' (Settings>Integration) to create predefined ProgIDs in registry
2. associate required file types manually, via:
- windows 'Default apps' in settings
- windows 'Open with' in context menu
- 3rd party apps, eg SetUserFTA or Types

However, it could be nice if a day I'll be able to do it automatically, by just installing XNView MP or selecting the file associations form the Settings menu.
