Windows11 (24H2), display resolution 3840x2160, dpi scale 150%
Viewer - pan - 'Zoom & pan'
"Zoom & pan" has constant panning speed which does not allow to pan from edge to edge for large images (same as in ACDSee, Lightroom)
eg try to pan test image from edge to edge via Shift+LMB
Suggestion
- improve panning speed (like in FastStone)
change panning speed based on the longest side of app window (viewport), so
regardless of the viewport size - when mouse cursor reaches left/right/top/bottom border, image should be fully panned to the specified direction
- add target zoom customization
add editable combobox with values [100% (default), 200%, last zoom]
- last zoom (similar to Lightroom) - uses previous manual zoom level, eg
0. 'Best fit' is default autozoom settings
1. user manually zooms to 800% and presses / to return to autozoom value
2. Shift+LMB will zoom to 800%
