Create custom tag & sort

Hello,

I'm new on XnView, and have been working with ThumbsPlus in the past.
One of the functionality of Thumbs is that you can build your "catalogs" based on a custom field (metadata) that you add on your picture.
I would like to do the same.

Let's say I have a catalog of 10 pictures, 2 of them belong to group "ADC" and 8 to group "KDHO.01". On Thumbs, I was able to create a custom field (metadata) that I added on the picture.
Then, I could sort the pictures based on that field's value and also date of modification (both fields used in the sorting is very important).

I've been checking in XnView, but cannot yet find a way to create my custom metadata field for my pictures. Can anyone help me on achieving this?
Then of course once I have the field, I'd like to build this sort based on multiple criterias. Until now I only found an option to sort by a single property... is it something we can do on XnView?
