1.8.8: Scroll resets after new file is created

XnView: MP 1.8.8 - 64 bit
OS: Windows 10 64bit

When new file is created in external program in current folder, the scroll in browser jumps to the bottom. It makes sorting and editing bunch of photos tedious.

To reproduce:
1. Have multiple files in folder
2. Open browser window in the folder
3. Open external editor and create new file in the folder
4. Return back to XnView

Actual behaviour (bug):
5. The scroll in the browser jumps to the bottom

Expected behaviour:
5. The scroll doesn't change and shows previous position
