1.8.0: Edit functions don't update immediately on fullscreen images

On my multiple monitor setup I have XnView open on one monitor in browser view. When I double click an image it opens up on my 2nd monitor in fullscreen view.

At this point if I do any edit function (for example clicking the 'Rotate 90 degree right' icon) the thumbnail in the browser view updates correctly to show it has been rotated but the fullscreen image on my 2nd monitor still shows in its original rotation. I have to close and reopen the fullscreen image for it to update correctly.

This is also true for anything like adding an IPTC comment or editing the timestamp etc. None of these fields update in the fullscreen overlay on my 2nd monitor until I close and reopen the image again which forces it to refresh.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.9.0. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
