Update install to crash system

XnView_MP-1.9.0-win-x64.exe, XnView_MP-1.8.8-win-x64.exe Both of them update versions caused the system to crash.
1) Exit XnView MP
2) In the File Explorer, click on the update installation
3) During the installation, it will ask you to close the file manager.
4) Close the file manager and continue the installation
5) The progress is paused and it will show "Exit", "Wait" or "Close the program" for a while.
6) If the installation fails after trying, you can only close the program to end the installation.
7) The Windows 11 taskbar crashed and could not work properly.
You can only restart the system by pressing Ctrl+Alt+del
9) Re-update and install to complete.

Shell Extension is installed by default. If there is a problem with it, it must be the cause, right?

I have to reboot the system or restart the file explorer by task manager to get back to normal.

Users don’t take the time to test installation/updates in different situations. If there is a problem, other users should have the same problem.

Maybe if the problem occurs again during the next update version, I will take a screenshot for you.

Since v1.9.0 has a serious bug, I had no choice but to downgrade to the previous version v1.8.8, but the same problem occurred during installation (see picture). It may be related to selecting [Close application (A)]?
