Some Metadata tabs are missing when image is first opened from Explorer
Interface>Switching modes>Double click: Browser <-> Fullscreen | Viewer <->Fullscreen
What used to happen was I could double click an image and it would show a fullscreen preview on my 2nd monitor. Then if I double clicked on the fullasreen preview it would disappear. But now if I double click on the fullscreen preview it no longer disappears (pressing Escape or Enter still works and makes the fullscreen preview go away but double-clicking on the fullscreen preview doesn't).
Something also seems to have changed regarding refreshing image previews in this latest update. If I double click an image in XnView to see the fullscreen preview and then edit in with my image editor (Gimp) and save it, when I then go back to XnView and double click the image again to see the preview, it's still showing the old preview image and not the one I've updated and saved. I have to click away from the image in XnView and then go back to it again. Now when I double click it, it's showing the updated version.
This has only started happening in 1.9.0.

the thumbnail is updated, not the image in fullscreen, right?Something also seems to have changed regarding refreshing image previews in this latest update. Yes, the thumbnail updates correctly but when I double click it, the fullscreen preview still shows the old image (not the actual edited version).the thumbnail is updated, not the image in fullscreen, right?
Re: Some Metadata tabs are missing when image is first opened from Explorer

Re: Some Metadata tabs are missing when image is first opened from Explorer
Here is an example of what happens:
1) I double click on an image thumbnail in XnView (XnView is open on my 3rd right hand monitor)
2) The fullscreen preview opens on monitor 2 (my center monitor)
3) I launch my image editor (Gimp) by right-clicking the thumbnail and selecting Open With>Associated Editor
4) Edit the image in Gimp and save it
5) I can see the thumbnail in XnView has updated to show the edited image
6) I double click on the thumbnail but the full screen preview in center monitor still shows the original fullscreen image
7) I have to quit and restart XnView and now double clicking the thumbnail shows the correct edited image as fullscreen preview

Re: Some Metadata tabs are missing when image is first opened from Explorer
If I double click the fullscreen preview it no longer disappears (that's what it used to do before the 1.9.0 version). Now I have to either press Esc on the keyboard or double click the thumbnail.

Re: Some Metadata tabs are missing when image is first opened from Explorer
I use Explorer to navigate through my photos folders then double click on an image. Xnview is my default image viewer so it opens from there.
