Hello.
I don't know if it's already implemented and to which extent but it seems not : it would be very nice to be able to specify a number of files read in advance ; when I view very heavy images (needing 2-3 seconds for decoding/displaying), that could be done when I'm viewing the current file , I think you get the idea.
And/or also buffering previous images for immediate re-display ; of course the size of the buffer could be defined to preserve RAM (I have 64 Gb on my main computer, for instance, can be taken advantage of)
Last thing, maybe....using VRAM for storage to preserve RAM? surely trickier and by no means a priority.
Decoding in advance next files &/or buffering previous ones
