Sometimes when going to Fullscreen with some pictures the Taskbar is visible and has not disappeared like it should.

Do you have a way to reproduce it every time?

Currently, no but I am looking for clues.

Update:
Using "Always on Top" in the Startup options seems to fix it.

Ok, I now believe this bug is connected to the new "Hide scrollbar" feature in Fullscreen options.
I'll provide a screenshot as to why I think this.

Image

I had the "Hide scrollbar" feature unchecked and now I have it checked as I dig deeper into the taskbar bug.

With or without 'Fullscreen/hide scrollbar', i can't reproduce it all the time

Hmmm, interesting everytime I found the bug I was using F11 to go to Fullscreen.
So far, I can only reproduce this bug 50% of the time - really annoying too.

I've also updated to ATI 5.12 video drivers and that didn't help and before someone says ATI 5.13 is out - I already know.

Hmm, here WindowsXP, some older ATI Catalyst drivers (5.7 or so).
I tried also on i845 integrated graphics and there is no problem.

It seems the problem is ATI related, so maybe let's postpone it until you have an occassion to check on ATI chipset?

Probably not helpful: I cannot recreate it every time, but I can make it occur more often:
-800x600 screen Using browser+F11
A. 640x480 69K jpg High Quality settings taskbar image appears much more frequently.
B. 1600x1200 776K jpg HQ settings. taskbar never appears?
C. 1600x1200 776K jpg LQ settings. taskbar sometimes starts to appear and then it looks like it is shoved out of the way.

Don't think that problem is related to ATI, ???
