Ability to assign menu items for custom hotkeys

For many years i am missing hotkey for View > Rebuild Thumbnails and now View > Show Grid, perhaps if you no plans to add those could there be a universal menu to assign custom hotkeys for certain menu items?

you can assign shortcuts for both of these commands in Settings > Shortcuts
