Slideshow - video file not shown, blank

This only happens in normal slideshows. Using a dozen of pictures and videos, the still pictures are OK but the videos only shows a uniform screen of my preferred background color and then, after the delay, goes to the next picture.

Videos are played normally in all other context (preview in browser, edit mode, full-screen and quick slideshow). Tested with previous versions and again with the latest v1.9.4 on 2 machines running Win11. The problem still.

I have nearly the same problem, a video-file is not shown (in fullscreen) AND the context-menue 'open with' is empty. Could be the same source for this problem.
