Sorting Question

I've used XNView Classic quite a bit and finally decided to give MP a try.
So far I'm liking it, but there's one little thing I'm not liking. With Classic, I had my sorting options set to "Sort" by Created Date. The option sort of spilled out to the folder view so when I created an image, the folder it was stored in was sorted accordingly.
With MP, it doesn't seem to be doing that. I create an image, store it in a folder but that folder doesn't appear at the beginning of the sorting.
Is this an option I have to choose?

you are confusing Modified date with Created date
