Because my scanner can produce multipage TIFF files, and the ScanTailor forks out there like it, I prefer this format.
XnView Classic provided tools to e.g. delete pages with a GUI: Tools | Multipage file | Edit Multipage TIFF or Ctrl+J shortcut.
I cannot find the same thing in XnView MP. I think this is the last reason why I keep XnView Classic installed.
However, XnView Classic is restricted in dealing with Unicode paths or filenames. Since I often use symbols in paths & names, I need to move or rename the files in such cases. I would clearly prefer to have the functionality available in XnView MP.
