Hello,
(This is borderline bug/unwanted behavior)
I browse an image folder with XnView. Every 2-3 seconds a new image is added to the folder by an external script I use to generate images.
As soon as a new image is added, the XnView browser scrolls down to highlight the new image.
If I scroll up to try to find an image, XnView will take me back down again when a new image is added to the folder (thereby losing my position in the gallery).
Makes sense?
Ideal behavior: XnView should not completely reset the current scroll position/view when the contents of the folder change slightly.

so, you are able to make a script but can't check app settings?
Re: 1.9.5 Image Browser behavior when adding new files
Go to Settings > File list
Configure these two settings to your liking:
- New files are added at the end of the list
- Auto-select new files

@BigCheese
Thank you! I will try this and report back if the issue still persists.
@user0
I am an idiot. I apologize. I didn't realize what was happening, and it was an issue of auto-selecting new files (I didn't realize the new files were auto-selected). Having said that, you could have used a similar amount of words to point me to the right direction, instead of criticizing my intellect or intentions. Thanks.
