1.9.5: ALT+C (Copy to) hangs with no reaction for a while

Hello,
it seems that this function is broken in v1.9.5.
After ALT+C is no reaction on navigation keys and process is hanging for up to 20 seconds.

My use case is that I check pictures from an USB stick and some of them I copy to "C:\Users\<name>\Desktop" with ALT+C.
The problem seems to be new in v1.9.5.

Thanks, there is no network drive involved. My new Mini-PC has 2 SSD, 1st is partitioned as C: and D:
Desktop is located in C:\Users\<...>\Desktop as usual.
2nd SSD (E:) holds my big picture archiv. I will check further under which circumsdances the problem occurs or not. ...
